Nos journ\u00e9es sont bien remplies et pourtant nombreux sont ceux qui occup\u00e9s du matin au soir se plaignent d\u2019avoir une vie vide.<\/p>\n<p>Mais comment et avec quoi remplir nos vies pour qu\u2019elles nous paraissent pleine de sens ? Que faut-il faire pour se sentir \u00e9panoui et heureux ?<\/p>\n<p>Le bonheur uniquement pour soi est une qu\u00eate vaine. Nous ne pouvons v\u00e9ritablement \u00eatre heureux malgr\u00e9 les plus grandes r\u00e9ussites professionnelles, artistiques, financi\u00e8res ou autre, si nous sommes dans une recherche de bonheur \u00e9go\u00efste.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;humanit\u00e9, la nature et tous les \u00eatres vivants qui la composent forment un tout dont nous ne pouvons-nous d\u00e9tacher. Le seul v\u00e9ritable bonheur peut exister uniquement dans l\u2019amour altruiste et la compassion.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, nous concentrons nos efforts \u00e0 changer les conditions ext\u00e9rieures de notre existence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthieu Ricard, <\/strong>dans son livre<strong> \u00ab\u00a0L\u2019art de la\u00a0m\u00e9ditation\u00a0<\/strong><em><b>\u00bb<\/b><\/em>, nous propose de \u00ab\u00a0transformer notre fa\u00e7on de percevoir les choses\u00a0\u00bb et c\u2019est cela qui nous permettra de transformer la qualit\u00e9 de notre vie.<\/p>\n<p>Matthieu Ricard, n\u00e9 en 1946, docteur en g\u00e9n\u00e9tique cellulaire, s\u2019est tourn\u00e9 vers le bouddhisme et a \u00e9t\u00e9 ordonn\u00e9 moine en 1978. Auteur de nombreux ouvrages photographiques et de nombreux livres dont entre autres les c\u00e9l\u00e8bres \u00ab\u00a0Plaidoyer pour les animaux\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Plaidoyers pour l\u2019altruisme\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Dans \u00ab L\u2019art de la m\u00e9ditation \u00bb il ne s\u2019agit absolument pas d\u2019associer la m\u00e9ditation \u00e0 une expression religieuse. Matthieu Ricard a ses r\u00e9f\u00e9rences et ses ma\u00eetres bouddhistes mais il nous transmet une m\u00e9thode que l\u2019on peut adapter chacun selon ses propres aspirations spirituelles. Selon lui : \u00ab Chacun de nous a un esprit, chacun peut travailler avec celui-ci \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>De nombreuses recherchent scientifiques depuis une dizaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es dans plusieurs universit\u00e9s am\u00e9ricaines et europ\u00e9ennes, d\u00e9montrent que la m\u00e9ditation a des actions sur notre sant\u00e9 physique, en plus de ses effets sur notre rapport au monde. Des capacit\u00e9s d\u2019attentions sup\u00e9rieures, diminution du stress, de l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9, de la tendance \u00e0 la col\u00e8re, diminution de la tension art\u00e9rielle et un renforcement du syst\u00e8me immunitaire avec trente minutes de m\u00e9ditation par jour.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce livre, Matthieu Ricard donne les outils pour apprendre \u00e0 m\u00e9diter.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e9ditation comme m\u00e9thode de \u00ab\u00a0transformation personnelle, du d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019amour altruiste\u00a0\u00bb. Une fa\u00e7on de nettoyer notre esprit des \u00ab toxines mentale\u00a0\u00bb que sont \u00ab\u00a0la haine et l\u2019obsession\u00a0qui empoisonnent litt\u00e9ralement notre existence\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Matthieu Ricard explique pourquoi et comment m\u00e9diter, quelles sont les conditions favorables \u00e0 cette pratique,\u00a0 il donne des conseils techniques sur les positions, les diff\u00e9rentes options de concentrations avec objets ou sans objets, la m\u00e9ditation pour apaiser la douleur physique et comment introduire la m\u00e9ditation dans notre vie quotidienne. Il fait le tour des diff\u00e9rents types de m\u00e9ditations et leurs variantes.<\/p>\n<p>Extrait d\u2019une tr\u00e8s jolie m\u00e9taphore, d\u2019un des maitres de Matthieu Ricard, Khyents\u00e9 Rinpotch\u00e9, cit\u00e9e dans ce livre\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Au c\u0153ur de l\u2019hiver, le froid fait geler les rivi\u00e8res et les lacs\u00a0; l\u2019eau devient si solide qu\u2019elle peut porter hommes, b\u00eates et v\u00e9hicules. Quand vient le printemps, la terre et l\u2019eau se r\u00e9chauffent et a lieu le d\u00e9gel. Que reste-t-il de la solidit\u00e9 de la glace\u00a0? L\u2019eau redevient liquide et fluide, la glace est dure et fig\u00e9e, elles ne sont donc pas identiques, mais elles ne sont pas non plus diff\u00e9rentes, puisque la glace n\u2019est que de l\u2019eau fig\u00e9e et l\u2019eau, de la glace fondue.<\/p>\n<p>Cette m\u00e9taphore s\u2019applique \u00e0 notre perception du \u2018\u2019r\u00e9el\u2019\u2019. Quand nous nous attachons \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des choses, quand nous nous laissons emporter par les jugements entre le d\u00e9sir ou la haine, le plaisir ou la douleur, les profits ou les pertes, la gloire ou l\u2019infamie, la louange ou la critique, notre esprit se fige. Or, ce que nous pouvons faire, c\u2019est fondre la glace des concepts et des pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s pour la transformer en l\u2019eau vive de la libert\u00e9 de tous les possibles.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>La pratique de la m\u00e9ditation permet donc de transformer notre vision des choses et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer nos qualit\u00e9s humaines que nous poss\u00e9dons d\u00e9j\u00e0 et que nous pouvons ainsi d\u00e9velopper.
